Students interested in attending the Rutgers School of Law—Camden have two program options: a full-time program and a part-time program held during the day or in the evening. Students interested in earning two degrees at once have many choices to consider, some of which are offered through departments on other campuses of the Rutgers, State University of New Jersey system. There is a J.D./M.B.A. program offered through the Rutgers—Newark Graduate School of Management, for example, as well as a J.D./Master of Public Affairs and Politics offered in conjunction with the Rutgers—New Brunswick Bloustein School of Planning & Public Policy. There are also several options offered through other institutions, including a J.D./M.D. program with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

For hands-on legal training, students can enroll in the clinical offerings at Rutgers School of Law—Camden, including a child and family advocacy clinic, civil practice clinic, and domestic violence clinic. Rutgers—Camden also places its law students in practice and judicial externships, which can lead to exposure and training. Outside of class, students may choose to consider a variety of organizations, such as the American Constitution Society and the Cyber Law Society. Qualified students may also find opportunities on one of the school’s legal journals, including the Rutgers Law Journal, the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion, and the Rutgers Journal of Law and Public Policy.
