There are more than 50 areas of study at the New York University Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. Diverse disciplines at the school span the fields of education, music, dance, health, nutrition, and more, offering many master’s degree, Ph.D., and certificate programs.

There are almost 20 research centers and institutes at Steinhardt, including the Metropolitan Center for Urban Education and the Nordoff-Robbins Center for Music Therapy. There are a handful of graduate student clubs to join, and all graduate students are automatic members of the student government body, the Graduate Student Organization (GSO).

For an international experience, Steinhardt students can complete global graduate courses in January or the summer months in destinations including Florence, Italy, and Beijing, China.
