On campus, Pamplin students can connect with the university community by cheering on the Division I Virginia Tech Hokies athletic teams, or by checking out a few of the more than 600 student organizations. Graduate students in the Pamplin College of Business can also take advantage of the Graduate Life Center on campus, which has a 24/7 computer lab, café, study room, lounge, and meeting rooms for reservation—all specifically for grad students.

In the classroom, Pamplin College of Business offers many types of master’s degrees. Graduate students can earn an M.S. in marketing, information technology, hospitality and tourism management, or accounting and information systems. Students pursuing an M.B.A. from Virginia Tech can do so full time in Blacksburg, or part time in Falls Church, Va. Those working full-time who have at least three years of experience in the field can also pursue a professional M.B.A., which meets once per month for two years, at alternating locations in Richmond and Roanoke. Professionals with at least eight years of experience can check out the executive M.B.A. program, which is offered in Blacksburg and in the Washington, D.C., area.

Pamplin College of Business students can check out the university’s Career Center, which hosts on-campus interviewing and helps with cover letters, negotiating salaries, and networking, among other things.
