The School of Management at the University of Texas—Dallas places students in the heart of one of the top business hubs in the country. Studying in Dallas, M.B.A. students are a stone’s throw from the headquarters of corporations such as ExxonMobil, Texas Instruments, and Southwest Airlines.

The UT—Dallas School of Management offers full-time, professional, online, and executive M.B.A. programs. Full-time students progress through the 16-month program—including a summer internship—while professional and online M.B.A. students work through the program at their own pace, offering flexibility for working professionals seeking an advanced business degree. Students can choose from concentration areas such as finance, healthcare management, and managerial economics, or combine their M.B.A. studies with a master of science in electrical engineering.

In addition to course work, M.B.A. students at UT—Dallas can gain research and real-world experience at one of the 11 research centers and institutes on campus. The school’s Center for Analysis of Property Rights and Innovation researches digital property rights, and the Institute for Excellence in Corporate Governance works with corporate sponsors to develop programs that address the needs of directors, senior management, and investors on a global level.

Outside of the classroom, full-time M.B.A. candidates participate in networking events, happy hours, intramural sports games, and business case competitions. Alumni from the School of Management at the University of Texas—Dallas include Sam Gilliland, chairman and CEO of Sabre Holdings, which includes the website Travelocity; and Dipak C. Jain, former dean of Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and adviser to the Prime Minister of Thailand.
