Business School Overview
The Gatton College of Business and Economics at University of Kentucky offers graduate programs in these departments and concentrations: accounting, entrepreneurship, finance, general management, international business, leadership, marketing, management information systems, production/operations management, supply chain management/logistics, and quantitative analysis/statistics and operations research. Its tuition is full-time: $11,165 per year (in-state); full-time: $22,237 per year (out-of-state); part-time: $642 per credit (in-state); and part-time: $1,399 per credit (out-of-state). At graduation, 54.9 percent of graduates of the full-time program are employed.
The University of Kentucky and the Gatton College of Business and Economics are located in Lexington, which is known as the “Horse Capital of the World” for its race tracks and stables. Besides equestrian activities, graduate students in the Gatton College of Business and Economics can check out the nearby shopping centers and restaurants, art scenes such as the Opera House and Lexington Ballet, and, on campus, the Division I UK Wildcats sports teams, which are well known for men’s basketball.

Gatton students who want to earn two degrees can combine an M.B.A. with an B.S. in engineering from the College of Engineering, or a J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law. University of Kentucky business students can also earn an M.S. in accounting or economics from the Gatton College of Business and Economics.
