The Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona in Tucson offers a green curriculum for environmentally minded M.B.A. candidates with a degree focused on sustainable energy. Students advancing down the energy track build real-world industry knowledge through experiential learning projects such as analyzing sustainable practices at Canyon Ranch resort or researching solar energy development for the Arizona Research Institute for Solar Energy.

Sustainable energy is not the only focus area available for M.B.A. candidates at the University of Arizona. The school offers a focus on healthcare, as well as concentrations in entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, and management information systems. M.B.A. candidates at Eller can pursue their degrees full time, or can go part time and complete their degrees in 22 months via the Evening M.B.A. program, which meets one night per week.

Students with substantial professional experience can opt for Eller’s Executive M.B.A. program. The 16-month program meets on alternating weekends at the school’s Scottsdale, Ariz., campus, and includes a 10-day international trip.

Dual-degree-seeking students have a variety of options at Eller, including joint degrees within the business school such as accounting or finance, and accelerated programs with the Department of Computer Science, or the College of Engineering.

Outside of the classroom, students can participate in hiking excursions with the Eller Outdoor Club, build their networks through professional working groups, or dig into a research project with one of the many labs and centers located on campus.

Notable alumni from the Eller College of Management include Tom Kilanske, former chairman and CEO of Leapfrog Enterprises, the educational entertainment company; and Terry Lundgren, the chairman, president, and CEO of national department store chain Macy’s, Inc..
