The Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University
offers graduate programs in these departments and concentrations:
accounting, consulting, entrepreneurship, finance, health care administration, marketing, portfolio management, real estate, and supply chain management/logistics.
Its tuition is full-time: $36,000 per year; part-time: $21,600 per year; and executive: $86,500 total program.
At graduation, 62.2 percent of graduates
of the full-time program are employed.
Students in the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University (TCU) study in Fort Worth, which is home to numerous museums, theaters, restaurants, parks, and bike trails. Many businesses are located in Fort Worth, too, including the headquarters of American Airlines, RadioShack, and Pier 1, among other corporations. For Neeley School of Business students, these companies within the area are ideal for networking, mentoring, interning, and job searching.
In the classroom, TCU graduate students in the Neeley School of Business can earn an M.B.A. in a few different ways: Through the full-time M.B.A. track, students can choose from four concentrations or customize their own. In addition to the concentration, M.B.A. students can choose an industry emphasis and spend about six to nine credits learning about energy, health care, real estate, healthcare, consulting, or entrepreneurship.
The M.B.A. program at TCU also offers students many opportunities to get real-world experience in the field, such as managing the roughly $1.5 million Educational Investment Fund, competing in national case competitions, and working with real clients through the Neeley & Associates Consulting firm. The full-time M.B.A. program usually takes students about 21 months to complete, though learners short on time can pursue the accelerated M.B.A. program at TCU, which lasts about one year.
At Neeley School of Business, midlevel business professionals with about five to seven years of experience in the field can pursue the professional M.B.A., which meets twice a week for 24 to 33 months. Working professionals with up to 20 years of experience can earn an executive M.B.A. from TCU, which meets every other weekend for about 16 months. Neeley School also offers a master of accounting program, as well as dual degree program that combines an M.B.A. with an Ed.D. from the TCU College of Education.
For master’s students considering the next step after graduation, the Neeley School of Business at TCU sets up each student with a professional career coach and offers intensive interview simulations and networking events. Notable alumni include Gordon England, former U.S. deputy secretary of homeland defense.
