The School of Business Administration at Portland State University offers graduate programs in these departments and concentrations: entrepreneurship, finance, general management, health care administration, human resources management, international business, leadership, manufacturing and technology management, marketing, not-for-profit management, real estate, and supply chain management/logistics. Graduate students in Oregon’s Portland State University School of Business Administration can choose from five degrees. The Portland State M.B.A. program is offered in full-time, part-time and online formats, with special emphases on leadership, innovation, and sustainability.

Students in the M.B.A. program focus on social responsibility and take classes such as Social Innovation and Metrics of Sustainability. M.B.A. students can also take electives focused on finance, entrepreneurship, sustainability, marketing and logistics, and international business. Both online and on-campus Portland State School of Business Administration students get hands-on experience through their capstone consulting project, through which they work in small teams and devote hundreds of hours to consulting with real businesses.

M.B.A. students also have the option to study abroad and join a mentor program. Another option for M.B.A. students is the Healthcare M.B.A., which is offered through Portland State and The Oregon Health and Science University. The Portland State Graduate School of Business Administration also offers a master of international management degree, which focuses on the Asia Pacific Rim markets and requires students to take 150 hours of Mandarin Chinese or Japanese language.

Other grad degrees available at the School of Business Administration include a master of real estate development and M.S. in financial analysis. Students can make the most of their Portland State master’s degrees by checking out the school’s career panels, self assessment workshops, and career changer seminars, which are designed for mid-career students who want to change routes.
