A Christian institution, Pepperdine University’s main campus is located in Malibu, among the Santa Monica Mountain foothills of California. For graduate students in its George L. Graziadio School of Business and Management, however, class may take place in Malibu or at one of Pepperdine’s many other locations across the state, depending on the academic track they pursue.
There are several kinds of M.B.A. programs at the Graziadio School of Business and Management. Part-time students can attend class in the evenings and weekends, in West Los Angeles, Irvine, Encino, and Westlake Village. At the same locations, Graziadio offers a program in which students first complete a bachelor of science in management from Pepperdine, and then complete an M.B.A. in 30 units, versus the traditional 52.
All of the Graziadio School of Business and Management’s full-time M.B.A. programs are offered in Malibu. There’s a standard full-time M.B.A. program, as well as a the International M.B.A., which focuses on global business; a joint J.D./M.B.A. offered in partnership with Pepperdine’s School of Law; and a joint M.B.A./M.P.P.A. with its School of Public Policy. Graduate business students can also choose from a wide range of M.S. programs, including management and leadership, organization development, entrepreneurship, applied finance, and global business.
The Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine strongly values Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and teaches the concept in class, through community service opportunities, student organizations, and events, among other activities. Those earning a full-time M.B.A. can pursue a Socially, Environmentally, and Ethically Responsible (SEER) certificate, and all students can check out the university’s Center for Sustainability. Graziadio students and alumni can take advantage of the school’s many career resources, such as career coaching, workshops, industry panels, networking events, webinars, and career fairs.
