Bentley University and its business school are located in Waltham, Mass., a few minutes from Boston. Graduate students at Bentley University have many master’s degree options through the McCallum Graduate School of Business. Students earning an M.S. attend class in the evenings, so they can work professionally by day, and they can earn their degree in accountancy, finance, financial planning, human factors in information design, information technology, marketing analytics, and taxation.
There are also different routes to an M.B.A. at McCallum, including the full-time, 11 month Bentley M.B.A. Students in the Bentley M.B.A. program are expected to have about five years of professional experience under their belts, and within the curriculum, they focus on the four themes of innovation, value, environments, and leadership. Full-time students with relatively little business experience can explore the Emerging Leaders M.B.A., which takes two years to complete and allows students to choose from eight concentrations. The Professional M.B.A. at McCallum is designed for working students, who attend class part time and have significant flexibility when it come to online education, scheduling, and receiving credit for prior classes. And in 21 months of full-time study, Bentley students can earn the Emerging Leaders M.B.A., paired with an M.S. in information technology.
McCallum Graduate School students can also learn in the Center for Marketing Technology; the Howard A. Winer Accounting Center for Electronic Learning and Business Measurement (ACELAB); the Trading Room, which simulates global financial markets; and the Design and Usability Center, where students conduct field studies, create web projects, and test the usability of their designs. Students can make the most of their master’s degrees by exploring McCallum’s Graduate Career Services, which hosts workshops, job fairs, mock interviews, résumé critiques, and job boards, among other things.
